When should I start taking my child to the dentist?
Our top priority at WSFD is to ensure that your child feels comfortable and at ease during their visit so that they can have a positive experience and avoid any potential dental anxiety or trauma. We call their first visit a ‘Happy Visit’ and we believe in starting dental care early — ideally before their first tooth eruption or by the age of 1. By doing so, our dentists can assess their oral habits, evaluate their teeth and jaw development, provide education on how to care for their baby teeth, and address any concerns or questions you may have. We are committed to creating a welcoming environment and making your child's dental visit a pleasant and stress-free experience.
How often should I see the dentist?
The frequency you should see the dentist depends on your individual needs and oral health status. At WSFD, we customize treatment plans to address the unique needs of each patient. This means that there is no standard answer to how often you should see the dentist. Give us a call today!
